Born in Long An Province, the freelance illustrator Diem Vy views her work as a mix of childhood memories, human contact with nature, and fantasies about saving the world. Whether it’s a balloon, a kite or a boat, Vy always seeks comfort and a sense of belonging in such things when she feels unsure of life. Her childlike sense of wonder and eye-popping palette of colors are a feast for the eyes and the imagination.
