Self Quarantine Art Print

175.000

As an introvert myself, the lockdown definitely left a tremendous impact on me. Days started to bleed into one, work was put on hold and worse yet, my mental health was taking a hit. For someone with anxiety disorder, the lockdown made me increasingly anxious. I would find myself frequently panicking after too much time spent alone.

At the start of the self isolation period, I felt a sense of camaraderie and togetherness when we were all kind of forced to switch to a more introverted mode. But, I don’t think it necessarily means that introverts like me would find lockdown easier than my extrovert peers. I don’t think anybody can fully enjoy being locked in their own home during a time of such overwhelming uncertainty. For me, it felt like life had shrunk to the size of a shoebox room. I felt like I was locked in with myself for better or for worse and struggling to silence the negative thoughts and my inner critic.

And that’s how this illustration came about. The main character is living in a world he’s created for himself but he seems far from happy inhabiting it.

Self Quarantine Art Print for Wall & Home Decor.

Hanoi-based illustrator Manh Hung practices his art as a form of self expression. He often finds himself diving into what is inside his head and visualizing his thinking.
